You know the sound. The fan stops, the fridge goes quiet, and the whole house goes dark. No power. Again.
Food spoils, gas bills climb to run the generator, and then the WAPA bill shows up anyway—higher than last month—for power you never even received. This isn't the aftermath of a storm; this is just a Tuesday in the Virgin Islands.
For 30 years, one party has run the legislature that is supposed to hold WAPA accountable. The result? No competition, no consequences, the same excuses, and the same darkness.
It is time to flip the switch. Fix WAPA and turn the lights back on. Vote Eric Tillett and Derrick Callwood for Senate.
Paid for by the Republican Party in the Virgin Islands.
